Last Friday (August 12) I was invited by Ms. Lenskie Cruz of TOMS Philippines and I didn’t think twice of saying yes. I also found out that it was also International youth that day! Cool! I thought I will be the Official Photographer of the event but not as one of the representatives. Lol! Hindi talaga ako na-brief that I will represent my beloved school-San Beda Alabang! 

It was held in Fully Booked, Fort Bonifacio! Such a fantastic place! I wished I could have stayed longer! Anyway, I was 2 hours late! :( I Blamed the traffic! For sure, south people would understand me! Haha. Good thing the event started late!

Basically the goal of TOMS Campus Club is to share the TOMS shoes stories and ONE for ONE movement to schools and their communities, From hosting events to spread awareness and to encourage others to get involved in it. I really want to bring this to my school and collaborate it with my org Likhang Sining but we’ll see!! 

By joining the TOMS Campus Club, you will gain valuable experience in marketing, event planning and promotion, viral marketing, professional networking, leadership and organization as well as team building.  

After the presentation/talk we are tasked to create a TOMS Campus Flag that will represent our school. And I really didn’t know what to do because I was the only one from my school! Boooo

Good thing there was a former Bedan who helped me!! Thanks kuya franco!! I really don’t know how to draw well eh. Don’t judge please! Seriously, I didn’t know what to do if you were not there! He drew that Lion and I painted the sides red because that’s the color of San Beda, and kuya franco put whiskers which made it the 3D feeling! lol  ;)

For me, TOMS is not just a brand or a shoe company. Every time you buy one you can help a child in need. It’s ONE for ONE! It’s really for a good cause!  Blake Mycoskie is such an inspiration for everyone!
